  1. References

We strongly recommend that our authors cite no less than 20 bibliographic sources in their papers, with at least five of them being published over the period of 5 recent years, and 3 being published in Scopus or WoS journals.

All references should be made to printed editions, monographs or electronic journals, not to coursebooks, dissertations, conference abstracts, GOSTs and other resources that cannot be accessed by the international readership.

Authors are ultimately responsible for the accuracy of references, including in the English language.

In-text references are given in square brackets and numbered in the order of their appearance in the text.

All authors of a cited source should be listed. The titles of cited journals should be given without shortenings and abbreviations. If applicable, the article DOI should be provided.

The list of references is presented in two versions:

Version 1: (Bibliographic list) The Russian-language version is provided together with foreign sources in accordance with GOST R 7.0.5-2008 “Bibliographic references. General requirements and rules". References to electronic documents must be provided in accordance with GOST 7.82-2001 “Bibliographic description. Bibliographic Description of Electronic Resources ". References to unpublished works are not allowed.

All references should be formatted in the same way: only with a period, no dashes between parts of the description (see example). Symbols № and & are not used, the number is indicated by N without a period after it. The double slash separates the description of the larger document whose fragment is being referenced. Do not use a period before the double slash. Spaces before and after the // sign are required.

Version 2: References for foreign databases are provided in a separate block, repeating the Russian-language list of references. If the list contains references to foreign publications, they are repeated.

For Russian-language articles from journals and collections, the following version of the references structure should be used: authors (transliteration in the BSI version), English translation of the article title, journal title (transliteration), English-language information, publication language in round brackets. The English translation of the article title must match the published translation in the journal cited.

The authors' team is indicated in full. The titles of the cited journals should not be abbreviated. It is also necessary to indicate the DOI of the cited article (if the article is indexed in CrossRef).
